Andaman Museum Tour

Quite close to Port Blair are the Ross and North Bay Islands, which you’d be visiting the next day. All you have to do is board a ferry from the Water sports complex, which takes you to Ross Island in around 15-20 minutes.
Ross Island is famous for its historical structures, and it too has a history. It was the administrative headquarters for the British for about 85 years, and it was only in 2018 that it was renamed Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island.
After completing the activities here, next is North Bay Island which in contrast has splendid marine and natural beauty for you to witness.
The entire trip takes about 5 hours of the day, after which you return to your hotel in Port Blair.

Samudrika Marine Museum (Port Blair) -Samudrika Naval Marine Museum is a well-known tourist attraction in the Andaman Islands. This popular sightseeing place of Andaman is also known as Fisheries Museum. This place has a wide range of installations with informative coverage of the islands’ ecosystem, plants, animals, tribal communities and marine life. 

Anthropological Museum (Port Blair)-For all those interested in knowing about the life and times of the tribes of the Islands, the Anthropological Museum is the place to visit. The Islands are inhabited by six native tribes- four Negroid viz, Onges, Sentinelese, Jarawas and Andamanese; and two
Mongloid viz, Shompens and Nicobarese. Even today, these tribes maintain very little contact with the rest of the world and visitors are not allowed inside tribal areas without special permission, making this Museum one of the few windows of opportunity to understand tribal life on the island.

Chatham Saw Mill (Port Blair)-The Chatham Government Saw Mill, established in 1883 is Asia’s largest and oldest saw mill. It is situated on Chatham Islands and is connected to Port Blair by a 100 meter long bridge. Its upkeep and maintenance are taken care of by the Forest Department here. In 1942, during the World War II, the mill fell victim to British bombs. A pit was thus created which is now filled with water. The Forest Museum maintained by the Forest Department is a helpful guide to the curious soul.

Fisheries Museum (Port Blair)- The Fisheries Museum lies in close proximity to the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports complex and is one of the most popular attractions in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is known for housing over 350 species of marine life found in the Asia- Pacific region. 

Flag Point (Tiranga Point) (Port Blair) - The Flag Point (Tiranga Point) in Port Blair, the capital city of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is another feather decorating the proud head of the islands and its residents. This Indian union territory is witness to a rich history about the freedom fighters and the era of pre independent India. A number of historical events took place in the Andamans that are still remembered and treasured.

Nature park is a newest park of the Port Blair, once upon a time it was mini zoo but some time before it has converted as nature park, best to spend quality time at silent place also it have sea view and butterfly house children garden etc.
Jogger’s Park in Port Blair is located near Veer Savarkar International Airport on high ground and is one of the city’s underrated attractions. In the evenings, the park is ideal for sitting on the benches and taking in the gorgeous sunset,overlooking the hills & gardens, city lights and the view of the airport’s lit-up runway.
